Fresh paint is one of the most profitable improvements that can be made to a house, especially if you can do the painting yourself. Use neutral colors. Paint the interior and exterior.

New Carpets

Install the best padding available since the cost is minimal, but the added market value is maximized by the comfort. Install a light beige carpet to appeal to virtually every potential buyer.

Update the Kitchen
